You don’t realize how many decisions you’ll have to make when you begin building your dream home.  Everyday decisions that don’t seem so important at the time, can be very costly later.  When you begin new construction you should always have a designer involved.

A designer saves time and money when decisions need to be made.  I recently worked with a client helping them plan out their new space before construction began, incorporating their space needs into that plan.  I also provided a cohesive look both inside and outside the home making it aesthetically pleasing and balanced.

Designers can also act as a liaison between the client and the contractors.  You want to make sure that your design vision is continued throughout the construction.  When your family room is completed does your sound system in your beautiful new armoire have the right electrical needs?

Once the construction is completed, the designer already knows what you want in your home because of all the careful planning in the beginning.  Now, as your home comes together, you can see that the lighting, the acoustics, the flooring, the appliances, the window treatments and even the last throw pillow all complement each other.  You want your home to be aesthetically pleasing with all materials and products harmonizing with each other.

Getting a designer involved at the beginning of construction means that your home has been thought through from a complete design perspective.  It will save you time and money in the end.
